Caesar Wraps are a great idea for easy meal prep! It's a flavor bomb wrapped in collard greens. Why collard greens and not a tortilla or lettuce wrap? Because collard greens are sturdy, flavorful, have tons of nutritional value AND don't add unnecessary refined carbohydrates to your meal. Ingredients
Preparation ![]() Preheat the oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy disposal of the bacon grease and spread out 5 strips of bacon. Bake 15-20 minutes (turning thick bacon is not a necessary step). While the bacon cooks, chop and dress the hearts of romaine with 2 tbsp of Caesar dressing, add pepper if you like. Slice the tomatoes and remove the thickest part of the collard green stem. To do this, cut a triangle up into the stem where the leaves meet the stem; this allows you to remove as much thick stem as possible without losing any leaves. To assemble the wrap, lay a piece of foil on a flat surface. Place the collard green facing up. Pile 2 oz. turkey, then 1 cup dressed hearts of romaine, then 2-3 tomato slices and finally top with 1 strip of cooked bacon. Now snap and roll. "Snap" the base of the leaf where your triangle is and "roll" up toward the leafy top. Grab your foil and roll in the opposite direction for a secured wrap. Nutrition Information
